Why the Resense Register?

Positive Reminiscent Articles

The newspaper features timeless and positive articles that focus on nostalgic topics and historical events, designed to elicit long-term memories and promote emotional well-being through reminiscence therapy

Enhanced Engagement

The Resense Register includes a variety of puzzles and games, such as crosswords, word searches, and fill-in-the-blank activities, which provide cognitive stimulation and help maintain cognitive function. These activities can be enjoyed individually or in group settings, fostering social interactions and meaningful connections within care communities

Familiarity and Comfort

Printed on classic newsprint with a large, easy-to-read font, the Resense Register replicates the sensory experience of opening a traditional newspaper. This familiar routine can decrease agitation, restlessness, and aggression, bringing comfort and joy to readers.

Inclusivity and Accessibility

The newspaper is designed with seniors in mind, featuring large fonts and puzzles suited to different cognitive abilities. This ensures that everyone, regardless of their cognitive level, can participate and enjoy the content, making the Resense Register an inclusive and accessible resource.
